2008 Victor Motor Data (4.2 MB *.xls)
Data from the Victor motors on several teams.
You'll understand why you need some closed loop control to keep the speed and direction accurate.
The data represents the measured rotational speed of the wheel in a no-load (off the ground) condition.
It is plotted as rotational speed as a function of PWM command value (an integer).
The first chart has the test set-up. The second chart is the result of commanding the victors in increments of 1.
The remainder of the charts is the data when commanding the Victors in incremetns of 5.
